What To Expect

We want you to have your best first class!

Wear whatever you feel most confident and comfortable in. We recommend breathable, light workout clothes.
We do require grip socks for safety and sanitary reasons. If you don’t have your own, you can buy some from us.

Bring a towel, grip socks, a water bottle and a good attitude!

Everybody is different and will experience the workout differently. Your first time will be challenging in many different ways. Even if you work out regularly, you may feel muscles you don’t usually utilize.
The first time trying any new workout format feels challenging because your body and brain are adapting at the same time. You’re learning unfamiliar movement patterns, adjusting to a new pace and intensity, and recruiting muscles in a new way.

Please arrive 10-15 minutes early! Our instructors need to show you the machine.
For safety reasons, we will not allow newcomers to join class late.

The XFormer is a custom resistance-based machine designed to deliver a full-body, low-impact workout.
The XFormer
For your first time! Please make sure you go up to your instructor and have them walk you through the machine. Some things to be aware of:
Balance Pole - You will be provided a balance pole for some moves to ensure that you stay safe and stable on the machine.
Front vs. Back - Always modify to the front of the machine if you do not feel safe at the back. Resistance typically increases when you move toward the back of the machine.
Don’t be afraid to take the modification!
